George W. Bush Discerns the Noble Cause in Iraq

How will George W. Bush answer Cindy Sheehan's simple question?  There is a chance that this president will never face up to the question, "What exactly was the noble cause that we invaded Iraq for?"  But if he ever does, I expect he'll use a method similar to the one shown here.

We've gone through, and discarded as bunk, all the choices on the board at least twice.  Lately this White House hasn't even offered a new attempt at a new after-the-fact justification for this war.  They not only think Cindy Sheehan is below their radar, but they haven't been willing to come up with a good creative lie for the rest of us in the last few months.

At this point, the best way to honor those already dead is to bring those still living back home, at least until this President can come up with a actual noble cause.

People will undoubtedly consider this position, cut-and-run.  I can only remember how Nixon faced the same charge when he finally pulled out of Vietnam (a war started and escalated by other presidents.)  I think it's only just that this President, who was so hard over for this war, take the political heat of getting us out of the mess.  If his personal history is any indicator, he will leave this quagmire for others to clean up and continue deluding himself, and his shrinking cadre of yes-men, that there is a noble cause for the Iraq invasion (although they haven't been able to come up with one yet that has proved factual.) 

I am convinced that you can draw a pretty decent cartoon (not particularly good, just better than average.)  I used to think that a person had to have some smarts to draw well.  You have proven me wrong.  A total moron can learn to draw.

I know I've hit a soft spot when this in the only conservative attack I get.  It is tiresome and lazy on your part but I felt this view had to be shown here because I do get a lot of similar messages.

Once again, for the record, I hate no one.  Hate is a useless emotion.

This is a sad reminder on all the lies told by this administration on Iraq.  How many must die to give this President enough of a #####?

Uhhhh.  I have a different take.  I feel that the President has failed to show sufficient interest in the mess he's made of Iraq.  Instead of 'finding it exciting', as I paraphrase your theory, this President avoids all honest assessments of his Noble Cause.

Have you ever done your duty in the US military?

At this time I am an American citizen that is not a member of the armed services.  This is a position that allows me to speak out when I feel we are using our military in the wrong way.  I am empowered by the US constitution to speak out against Mr. Bush's war.

I just thought that if you had ever been in their position, you might have a better idea of how this sort of America bashing hurts the troops morale.

It is all about them.  My only hope is that as many as possible of them get home safely to tell me to my face what a fool I am.  That will be a bitter sweet victory for peace loving Americans everywhere.

Haven't you overlooked the President's recent statements about staying the course to honor those who have already died.

OH BROTHER.  I heard that and choose to ignore it (until you brought it up.)  First of all, this is an attempt to justify staying in Iraq and can not be applied to going there in the first place.  Second, it is just incredibly silly.  Does it make grieving Mom A feel better to know that more Moms will be grieving along with her?  This statement by the President was an insult to all of us.

Dope-smoking, America-bashing, tree-hugging, hybrid-driving,  peaceniks like you should all be rounded up and sent to Tikrit.
