OBAMA COMES FROM NOWHERE TO THE FRONT OF THE PACK He's risen from the Illinois state senate to having a real chance to taking the oath for president in '09. Barack is the one the other democrats a alluding to when they talk about a "rock star." I don't know much about the guy but I like him. Or maybe that should read I don't know much about the guy so I like him. One thing I do know is that he's been on the right side of Iraq from the beginning and the other candidates only wish they would have spoken up like he did when it mattered. One thing that bothers me a bit on this guy is that constant smile. Just once, I want to see his game face. I know he's a happy guy but optimism doesn't conquer all....or does it? |

Remember when Bush took office some thought his lack of experience would be counteracted by the wealth of experience of his advisors. These advisors turned out be mostly scoundrels. Give me the brave naive person over the blustery incurious person we have now.....PLEASE. |

Sure, and I understand he dresses himself as
well as the next guy. This may be a surprise to some of you younger folks, but before Mr. Bush, all presidents were articulate. |
