| Here's my drawing to be used later when people wonder what was it that killed me. Deep fried and sugar coated, it is the breakfast of fat people everywhere. March 2007 | |
| Haswell Street is a short, neglected, run down street in my town. This is a bit too leafy and it is obviously hand drawn, but I like it. July 2006 | |
| This is a baby giraffe that was recently born at the Fort Worth Zoo. They names it Stretch. Not much imagination in that name but it is a strange looking creature. May 2006 | |
| This is baby boy, Henry. A teacher once told me babies were hard to draw because they all look like Winston Churchill. To me, Henry looks more like someone painted a face on a Honeydew. Sep 2005 | |
| This is a hand study. Not the easiest thing I've drawn in a while but here it is. These are the hands of a friend of ours that is a massage therapist. I like the older term Masseuse. Aug 2005 | |
| This is an older portrait of John Lennon. It was finished and framed back in the late eighties, but I still wanted it included here. PrismaColor on water color. Middle Eighties | |
| This is a sketch of my daughter, Rachel. It is just number 2 and "H" pencils on an old drawing pad my Mom found at a garage sale. The pages are a bit yellow, and the scanner has dulled my detail. May 2005 | |
| Here's a portrait of Rachel's Uncle Martin. This is PrismaColor on Bristol Board. Its a nice combination but I have to be more careful about applying too much pressure during the original drawing. Uncle Martin has an interesting face. Oct 2004 | |

This is Rachel. I fouled up the color early but did a fair job of recovery. Paper has too much teeth for colored pencils. I used a clear blending pencil that worked well, but the digital camera makes those areas shine strangely. July 2004 |

| Here's a sketch of the cat that prowls my office. The boss says he has the best attendance of any of us but doesn't say anything about the near constant sleeping. Great model, though. | |
| This is typical of my portrait efforts for the last 30 years. This one is from 1996. It's a friend of mine that was kind enough to let me sketch away while he watched sports on TV. Scribble like crazy for a few minutes and hope for the best. | |
| This one is me. A pencil self-portrait. My wife tells me that it is a very good likeness. Hard to believe I look so wimpy. The older I get the more I look like an old lady in drag. Mar 2006 |
